What events work best at Violet Cactus Venues?
Our beautifully curated spaces are perfect for ready-to-go simple & pretty parties, showers, birthdays, meetings, workshops and more!
What events are not suitable for your venues?
We like simple events that utilize the thoughtful amenities we have put in place for you! Therefore our venues are not well suited for weddings, vendor-heavy events, or events that cause excessive stress, drama or undue wear & tear on our spaces (or our spirits!) Please inquire for more details on your specific event.
How can I book one of the venues?
Booking is easy! Select a venue and fill out our inquiry form and we'll send you a proposal that includes our rental agreement and an invoice you can easily pay online.
Do your venues have parking?
Yes, our Burbank Venues offer a small parking lot with reserved parking spaces as well as open unrestricted street parking and our Sherman Oaks Venue offers a large rear parking lot with ample parking for all guests.
Can I tour the venues before booking?
Of course! We offer easy virtual tours on our website, then once you've narrowed down which venue you'd like to see in-person, make an appointment via the Tour link on the website! We can also do a FaceTime tour with you if you live out of the area. (In-person & FaceTime tours are by appointment only).
Do you allow cooking?
Our venues are best suited to drop off style catering since we do not have a stove/oven on site. We will allow a Taco vendor or other on-site cooking vendor to setup a grill outside with prior permission. Please inquire for details!
Do you provide catering?
We provide a beautiful space, YOU provide your food & drink! You are welcome to use vendors of your choosing.
What is the cancellation policy?
Our detailed cancellation policy can be found in our rental agreement.
Do you allow DJ's at your Venues?
We have an awesome built in sound system that guests can connect to via wi-fi, we recommend this for music. However, if you would like to have a DJ, we recommend a very low profile setup and we must speak with your DJ ahead of time to confirm setup needs, in/out time, etc. When approved, DJ's will bring all of their own equipment, table & speakers and can only be setup indoors (not on patio).
